Job Description

  • We are looking for a New Market Expansion Manager to develop and manage a selection process for potential new partners and geographies, determine priority expansion targets, and launch and sustain each new site for two years. As part of the role you will need to identify and implement market coverage strategies globally via primary and secondary research, industry, market and competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
  • Contacting potential partners -acquirers and banks-, building relationships with them
  • Undertake market research per region/country to keep the team and management abreast of latest market development and coverage opportunities.
  • Understand why local population in each country prefer the most popular payment methods.
  • Researching regional and local market trends in specific nations as well as monitoring the performance of ads and other campaigns in the Fintech space
  • Identifying business opportunities in international markets
  • Customizing digital marketing approaches for regions and countries
  • Determining the sales potential for new audiences and markets
  • Finding the sales and marketing channels that work best in target nations
  • Identifying marketing automation tools that work in different languages and in different regions
  • Segmenting broad geographic markets into individual regions
  • Analyzing performance results and optimize accordingly.
  • Improve operational capabilities for the different payment methods.
  • Stay on top of local regulatory/licensing requirements and how it impacts our business, engage with regulators in case its necessary.
  • Creating country- or culture-specific demand generation strategies
  • Contact with local lawyers, accountants and tax experts in order to ensure the operation is running accordingly.
  • Assisting with regional pricing strategies and setting the company’s international marketing budget
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver market readiness in-sync with customer needs and regional development plans.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience working with payments schemes/psps/acquiring banks
  • Strong ability to multitask with a good eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation tools.
  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Able to work both as a team player as well as independently.
  • Proficiency in LEAN, Six Sigma, or equivalent improvement tools is a bonus
